Where did this great idea come from?
Since it's introduction to Australia in 2007, trolleybux has been leading the way in trolley coins.
History
They were first introduced to the country by Danaus Enterprises who later
sold the trademark to Trolley Tokens R Us.
Trolley Tokens R Us have been
supplying trolleybux since 2007 along with Danaus and Trolley Coins By Design. It was later in
2009, when Danaus went in another direction, that Trolley Tokens R Us
displayed an interest in obtaining the trademark and an agreement was
reached.
However, there may still be some trolley tokens out there that are labeled 'trolleybux', but are not supplied by Trolley Tokens R Us.
To tell the difference between the original trolleybux and others,
the original trolleybux have no website embossed on the back of the token.
Some of these others are also slightly thicker.
We know this as we have had some sent to us as 'faulty'.
You can be confident that the original trolleybux, as supplied by Trolley Tokens R Us, are of the correct size.
To quote from their website:
"You can rest assured that these are of the highest quality.
We have full confidence in what you get. So much so, that we offer a Lifetime warrantee on both the Tokens AND the Keyrings.".
Where are they available?
Many schools, newsagents, and others have them.
But one of the easiest
ways to get them is directly from
Trolley Tokens R Us.
